Full Care Instructions

Full Care Instructions (standalone policy)

1) Washing

To protect the fabric and logos:

  • Use cold water and a gentle/normal cycle
  • Use mild detergent
  • Keep loads light to avoid heavy rubbing from zippers, jeans, or rough fabrics

Color separation matters: mixing brights/darks can cause dye transfer over time.

2) Drying (the #1 rule)

  • Hang dry only (recommended indoors or shaded)
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Avoid direct high heat (radiators/heaters)

Heat is the fastest way to shorten the life of screen print and tackle twill and can also cause shrinkage and fading.

3) Screen Print Logo Care

Screen-printed logos are durable, but they can crack or fade faster when exposed to heat and friction.
Best practices:

  • Machine Wash Cold or Wash with Cold Water
  • Wash inside out to reduce friction on prints and stitched patches
  • Always wash inside out
  • Avoid aggressive cycles and overloading
  • Never dry in a dryer
  • Do not iron on or near the print

4) Tackle Twill Logo Care

Tackle twill logos are stitched and layered, which makes them strong—but heat and harsh washing can loosen stitching or warp the patch over time.
Best practices:

  • Wash inside out
  • Keep to cold water
  • Avoid high-speed spin if possible
  • Hang dry only
  • If ironing is needed: inside out only and never press directly on the patch

5) Ironing (if you must)

We recommend avoiding ironing whenever possible. If needed:

  • Turn the garment inside out
  • Use low heat
  • Avoid printed/tackle twill areas entirely
  • Consider placing a thin cloth between iron and fabric (still inside out)

6) Stains & Spot Cleaning

  • Treat stains promptly using cold water
  • Gently dab—don’t scrub harshly over logos
  • Avoid strong stain removers directly on printed areas or patches

What to Avoid

To protect logos and fabric, please avoid:

  • Dryers / high heat
  • Dry cleaning
  • Bleach or harsh detergents
  • Heavy fabric softener use (can affect fabric finish and print longevity)
  • Washing with rough items (heavy denim, Velcro, zippers) without turning the garment inside out
